PNY is laying down a new graphics card that’s a GeForce with a crappy box but great stats. It’s for gamers, so you pesky video editors can skip to the next post. But if you’re a keyboard-hunched killer, dig these groovy stats from the press release after the jump:

512MB GDDR3 RAM

650MHz proc

NVIDIA unified architecture with GigaThread™ technology

Full Microsoft DirectX 10 Shader Model 4.0 support

16x full-screen anti-aliasing

True 128-bit floating point high dynamic-range (HDR) lighting

NVIDIA Quantum Effects™ physics processing technology

NVIDIA PureVideo™ HD technology

OpenGL 2.1 support

NVIDIA ForceWare Unified Driver Architecture (UDA)

Two dual-link DVI outputs support 25601600 resolution displays (at 60Hz)

It’s PCI Express and should run around $200. I’m heading to my local Fry’s today to see if they’re in stock, it’s a dope sounding card.

This day marks the first update to iTunes 7.6, which brings it up to 7.6.1, promising superior compatibility with Apple TV’s “Take Two” software and bringing special 99-cent Move Thursdays, where a movie may be rented for less than a buck Thursdays through Mondays, with a new featured motion picture each Thursday. Cool!

Regular readers will recall my frustrations with iTunes 7.6 on Leopard and how it worked with my Apple Television. This update appears to fix that problem. I’ll be trying it out this weekend, and I’ll let you know how it goes.
